Emma Holland-Lindsay is fighting for a fair deal for Bedfordshire

Emma Holland-Lindsay lives right here in Bedfordshire. She hasn’t just turned up for the by-election.

Emma has a real record of standing up for local people as a councillor and campaigner. She has a positive plan to get a fairer deal for Bedfordshire on the issues that really matter.

Nadine Dorries hasn’t been doing the job for months. But Emma is already getting stuck in to fighting for us. As our new MP, Emma will be the strong voice for Bedfordshire that we’ve missed out on for so long.

1. Better access to health services

Bedfordshire has one of the highest number of patients per GP in the UK.

Emma and the Lib Dems are leading a campaign to get more GPs here in Bedfordshire. Join the hundreds of other local people who have already backed it here.

2. Real action on rising bills

People in Bedfordshire are struggling with rising energy and food bills. Mortgages and rent have skyrocketed.

Emma’s Lib Dems are demanding a tax on energy company profits - delivering a saving to bill payers. They would cut VAT to help bring down food bills.

3. Fighting for more visible policing

In communities across Bedfordshire many of us rarely see a police officer. Anti-social behaviour and speeding is out of control.

Emma is demanding a return to community policing - with ‘beat bobbies’ in our towns and villages. Back her campaign here.

4. Real investment in local areas

For too long communities across Bedfordshire have missed out on investment and the infrastructure we need - like road repairs, new shops,  school buildings and public transport.

Emma is fighting to get our area its fair share of investment.

5. A full-time constituency MP

Nadine Dorries has failed to speak up for Bedfordshire in Parliament for over a year.

As our new MP, Emma will be a full-time constituency MP, holding advice surgeries, taking up local issues and giving local people a real voice.

I'll back Emma Holland-Lindsay to win in Dunstable & Leighton Buzzard
